Seven contestants competed in the following categories: Male Interview, Evening Wear, On Stage Question and Talant.

Miss Rose Petal wins Miss Gay Lafayette Pageant

Competing in the pageant: Sybil, Alexa Foxx, Rose Petal, Sylvia, Veronica Shalimar, Nadia Sky, and Iva Thunderpussy. The pageant began with a parade of white with all contestants introducing themselves in a white outfit of their choice. The excitement continued to build as the moment of crowing drew near. Rose Petal was crowned winner, Iva Thunderpussy 1st runner up, and Alexa Foxx as 2nd runner-up. Congratulations to all the contestants, Zoolegers Nightclub, and the Miss Gay Lafayette Pageant. Category Winners: Male Interview: Sylvia, Evening Gown: Iva Thunderpussy, On-Stage Question: Iva Thunderpussy, Talent: Rose Petal "I'm so very excited and thrilled to represent Lafayette.", said Rose after winning. "All the contestants and local performers were so nice and it was a great contest", continued Rose. Watch for Rose Petal's upcoming performances at Zoolegers, Lafayette's newest glbt nightclub.
